Our latest press release has been published in conjunction with one of our clients who are a local Farm Shop. They have recruited a Butcher through our On Demand E-Recruitment Solution. I think this really highlights how the Internet is continuing to change recruitment and how wide the potential audience truly is.
The majority of positions we help our clients fill, are the office jobs, where job seekers probably use a computer as part of their role, such as Accountants, Sales, HR, IT etc. However, over the last 6 months we have seen an increase in demand of manual and low skilled vacancies; from just a couple a year to more than a couple per month.
It is also great that all our clients looking to fill these types of roles have successfully filled 100% of them with our unique service and saved valuable administration time in screening & shortlisting.
Some of the latest positions we have helped our clients with online recruitment campaigns include:
- Butchers
- Construction Site Workers
- Cleaners
- Plumbers
- Care Assistants
- Pickers & Packers
In addition to this increase that HR Connexions have seen, a client did a survey recently. They asked their shop floor, factory workers where they would go if they had to look for work? Over 83% of them said they would use the Internet first and foremost.
Maybe companies are getting a little more confident about using the job boards for all kinds of vacancies?
