Next Wednesday and Thursday (8th & 9th Sept) will be the fifth Recruitment Unconference (TRU Conferences)and this time, its at the MCCin Manchester: #trumanchester! It will be my first time so I am a bit unsure what to expect and as a number of people have been asking me what it is all about, I thought I would write a post to try and explain what I know so far. Hopefully this will also help other virgins attending and add to the general buzz! Of course all comments are greatly appreciated & let me know if you are going too.

Organised by @billboorman and Geoff Webb @Radical Recruit , an Unconference is very different to the traditional conference.
Pretty much anything goes with the main objective to get the most out of the 2 days! Meet people, have your questions answered, debate and join the discussions. There are a few rules to be followed and these can be found on the official #trumanchester website. Essentially it is a facilitated & participant driven conference, all centred around recruitment.
The day will be scheduled into tracks. There is a great line up with some really interesting topics for debate, which will be managed by some very knoweldgable track leaders. A full list of the tracks & their leaders can be found on the website too.
Check out the #trumanchester #hashtag to get the low down on twitter - there is a lot of buzz going on and keep an eye on the blog too!
