#trumanchester…..The Flat Fee Debate!

The #trumanchester event is nearly here!  Yours truly is really excited about running her first track at her first #tru conference.

I have decided to take the bull by the horns and open up ”The Flat Fee Debate”.  This is a topic that is obviously close to my heart and one that gets a fair bit of coverage on the social sphere, but I am really interested to hear what others at the event think.

The debate has already started on the #trumanchester blog and I think it may be a lively one – have your say!

I hope you can join in the debate at 1.30 on day 1 (Wednesday).  In the meantime, I am really keen to get an idea of your questions to add value to the track.  To kick start it off, some of mine include:

  • What is your definition of a flat fee provider – and should there be one?
  • What is the perception of these providers in the recruitment market place?  (Be honest)!
  • What effect (if any) are flat fee providers having on the traditional recruitment agency model or recruitment suppliers?
  • How far should or could the flat fee service evolve  – What is the future?

There are some great topics and hopefully I will get to experience most of them, I am finding it hard to choose!  A full list of scheduled tracks can be found here and you can also download a pocket schedule from the site too.

Look forward to seeing you there :)
